Who we are

Banskonnect ("we") is a connection service for nomads in Bansko, operated by Midcurve Labs. Contact: hello@banskonnect.com.

What we collect

When you sign up we store the email address, name/handle, in-town dates, and interests you provide, plus a record of your consent (the consent text and version, your IP address, browser user-agent, the page URL, and a timestamp). The consent record exists to prove your consent was freely given, as the GDPR requires.

Why we use it

To match you with other nomads whose dates and interests overlap, to send you a confirmation and (if you opt in) occasional updates, and to measure how the product is used. Our legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — database hosting (EU region).
• Resend — sending email.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• PostHog — privacy-friendly product analytics.
• Cloudflare — DNS and network.

Each acts as a processor under a data-processing agreement. We never sell your data.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and withdraw consent, at any time. Use banskonnect.com/delete-my-data or email hello@banskonnect.com. We action erasure requests within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Retention

We keep your signup until you delete it or until the Bansko program ends, whichever comes first.
